I cant find the cable i need

    Hi guys. I have just bought a sanyo z2 and am trying to hook it up to a marantz dvd 4100 and a skyplus box. I used s-video to hook up the pj and the skyplus, but i only have scart on my dvd. Rather than replace the dvd player, i would like to get a scart cable 10m long to rgb, or component video as it is known. Is there such a thing? And if so where can i buy it without breaking the bank. I dont really want to replace the dvd player. What are my options?

    S-video cable from DVD? or an RGB>YUV converter

    Keene Electronics do a 10m Scart to RGsB (Component) cable for £50.
    Product code SBB75.

    They also do a cheaper Vivanco branded version for £30 (code KLD162).

    Not sure if Z2 will take RGsB via its component input. BEst check the manual.

    Thanks for your help guys. Can someone tell me what RGsB is? what is the difference between that and rgb? The cables from Keene are just what I am looking for if i can figure out if RGsB can be used on the Z2?

    RGsB is ~RGB with sync on green RGB proper is RGBHV H=horizontal sync, V=Vertical Sync RGsB Is RGB with sync combined on green a Scart use composite video pin for sync signals IIRC.
    An RGB>YUV converter is an active component that actaually converts from one signal type to the other.

    Thanks Horny. So ddoes anyone know if RGsB can be used with the Z2?

    Sugest you try in LCD PJ forum mate post the keene link and ask if this will work.
