Hi guys. I have just bought a sanyo z2 and am trying to hook it up to a marantz dvd 4100 and a skyplus box. I used s-video to hook up the pj and the skyplus, but i only have scart on my dvd. Rather than replace the dvd player, i would like to get a scart cable 10m long to rgb, or component video as it is known. Is there such a thing? And if so where can i buy it without breaking the bank. I dont really want to replace the dvd player. What are my options?

    Davyb.

Keene Electronics do a 10m Scart to RGsB (Component) cable for £50.
    Product code SBB75.

They also do a cheaper Vivanco branded version for £30 (code KLD162).

    :)

Not sure if Z2 will take RGsB via its component input. BEst check the manual.

RGsB is ~RGB with sync on green RGB proper is RGBHV H=horizontal sync, V=Vertical Sync RGsB Is RGB with sync combined on green a Scart use composite video pin for sync signals IIRC.
An RGB>YUV converter is an active component that actaually converts from one signal type to the other.
    See HERE:http://www.js-technology.com/rgb-yuv/index.htm
