I cannot get the required 4:3 format when watching DVDs of The Saint TV series from the sixties. I have tried all the settings available but none seem to work.

ORIGINAL gives a streched image and objects and characters appear shorter and wider.

My previous TV, a non-SMART Panasonic, gave various aspect options including 4:3 and 14:9.

The TV in question is a model 65OLED936/12.

Thanks for any assistance.

Set the aspect ratio output on your DVD player.
Thank you JayCee. I didn’t know there was such an option on this particular player (a Panasonic DMR-BWT735) despite having owned it for many years. But you prompted me to take a look and lo and behold, deep in the menus, there is an ASPECT FOR 4:3 VIDEO setting which was set to 4:3 (which seemed right at first sight) but after setting it to 16:9 the Saint now looks as suave as he should! Thanks again for the hint.
