    Frustin,
I have Tannoy M2.5's and if the M2's are half as good I'd recommend them. However, shop around - I have seen Tannoy M3 (floorstanders originally for about £230) going for £99!and M2.5's for £70! Buy this month's hi-fi/home cinema mags and checkout the adverts. Good luck.
    Regards Gary J

I have owned the M2's for about 18 months and they are excellent speakers. Great sound with plenty of bass. Ideal for HC. However, I would agree with Gary regarding the price. As these speakers are now well out of date and have been replaced with the MX2's you should be able to pick them up cheaper than what you are being offered them for. Try and negotiate the price down. But buy with confidence.
