I have up to £1500 to spend (I will pay it in monthly installments in about 10 months) but dont know what to look for. I have a PC and might use the TFT to play my PC games on and I will be watching football and playing console games as well as watching films.
My bedroom is about 12ft by 10ft so will be looking for a TFT no more than 30 inch really. I would prefer 3 RGB scart sockets but I have a scart box control so that is not a problem and I would want it to play NTSC obviously and I want it to be 100HZ and have component output so I can connect my dvd player and get the best possible picture.
Thanks in advance for your help.

I can't tell you which TV to buy, but I may advise you to get an LCD MONITOR with a TV tuner biult-in so you can hook up your PC without problems.

    Regards.

Check out the Viewsonic N3000W. This is a 30" LCD TV with astounding connectivity and all for considerably LESS than £1500. Bloody good telly too. Check out the review at AV Review at the top of the main page. Fully HiDef ready and features that would make some Tellys twice the price weep! (If they could).

    Dabs and Misco sell it.

Yes the viewsonic is a really good set, the screen comes to about 29.5" (full unit is quoted as 32), the pixel response is a good 16ms. Ive got one of these and had it just over a month, ive had no problems with it and am very pleased. zero dead pixels so far too!
