Probably sensible to park all electric Konas outside and a safe distance from flammable materials until Hyundai finish their European investigation.

Hyundai UK was fairly proactive and have been doing BMS updates and Battery Resistance checks since June

There are 4 software updates and a check on battery condition that are done, if the battery fails the initial tests the updates are not done till the battery is replaced. There are a couple of people on the UK Kona facebook group who have reported their cars were held for battery replacements.

Seems in the UK its been shuffled through as a "Quality Enhancement" rather than recall.
