Seems the lack of fast chargers is a worldwide issue.

The reality is that was an "entertainment" video, much in the vein of TOPGEAR. There are actually more than enough fast chargers on that route. They just chose to make it "fun"...if they had come back the same way they went they would never have had to slow charge at all and would have saved about 10 or more hours....they even say as much at the beginning. Having said that. I really enjoyed it...but it is a pity that folk will look at it and think what a pain it would be to have the better car but crippled by time it takes to charge due to lack of infrastructure.
