    Hi pj,

I think they are only available from China and Hong Kong. I don't know of any internet sellers either, I'm afraid, but you get 3 HVDs free with the Skyworth player from HiViZone. :smashin:

Had never heard of it til now. Though I did know that there was to be a different dvd based hi-def format in Asia. So there are 2 players. The slightly cheaper ($165 + shipping), player will scale dvds to output 720p and 1080i, whereas the more expensive player, ($195) ads 1080p. Both players will play the new HVD discs that are native 720p encoded. Is this via MPEG4 or something? How does it work? Would be interesting to see/know what the scalers were capable of doing? Apparantly upscaling is done per pixel rather than line based!?
