And Mickey Stone (Adrian Lester) has left the show to be replaced by Ashley Walters (So Solid Crew) playing Billy Bond.

The first and last episodes were filmed in LA. The first is starring Robert Wagner as a Texan Movie Memorbillia fanactic.

Starts on BBC in around 2 weeks time I believe.

(Lets hope its better than the appaling series 3 first episode with Mel Smith)

BBCHD are currently showing previews of hustle, is that series 3 or 4.

Are they serious?!

He was fine in Bullet Boy, he has done up to 27 film/tv roles to date. I think the show needed a change/direction.

Bullet Boy was a class film, in my view.

Looking forward to series 4 as i like this show - good fun.

Plus they make London look like such a cool place to live and work. Far better than the reality...

take away the main character & the show will die on it's arse.

Adrian Lester should have at least filmed a little bit to explain his absense.

At least they're not trying to convince us that the new guy is really the old guy after leaving for Australia and coming back, as seen on many a soap. That was my initial fear after hearing about who was taking mickey stone's place as he also happens to be black. Hope the show remains as good as it was in previous series. Looking forward to it's return.

Noticed how ITV have tried to rip-off the idea with Diamond Geezer? Still it's a welcome change from all the reality/celebrity crap ITV have been forcing upon us.

slightly off topic.

Will Judge John Deed Be Back. I'm getting withdrawal symtons

It starts next month on BBCSD/BBCHD Simultaneous broadcast.

According to my media centre PC / webguide:

Hustle - Episode 1
Drama series about a team of con artists. The Hustlers are off to sunny Los Angeles for their first con without old leader, Mickey. New boss Danny is out to prove himself and talks them into a scam, which might prove to be way over their heads. In the land of movies and stardom, can the gang really get away with selling the famous Hollywood sign from high in the Hollywood hills?

It's on Thursday now :(
Prefered it on Fridays! Anyway, it has been filmed in HD, so lets hope the SD looks good.
Can't wait!

me too ! - just for the record the episodes so far....

Hustle - Episode 2
Drama series about a team of con artists. Back in the UK, Danny is convinced the team needs a new grifter and begins interviews, but the candidates aren't quite what the rest of the team are expecting. Dickie Brennan, a ruthless porn baron, is keen to own a prize-winning horse and the gang of con artists are willing to oblige, despite knowing nothing about horses. While all this is going on, will anyone take any notice of Billy Bond, who'll stop at nothing to join the gang?
Thu 10 May 21:00 - 21:59 1 BBC ONE - BBC1 North West
(10/05/2007) Other/Drama

and the ones planned are:

Hustle - Episode 3
Drama series about a team of con artists. The grifters' favourite barman, Eddie, is in trouble, with the owner of his father's nursing home holding him to ransom. Veronica Powell is a ruthless businesswoman but she has a weakness - her wine collection. However, she's more wily than most and time is running out for Eddie's father. Can Danny think of a decent con, or will the team go bankrupt trying to convince her?
Thu 17 May 21:00 - 22:00 1 BBC ONE - BBC1 North West
(17/05/2007) Drama/Other

and:

Hustle - Episode 4
Drama series about a team of con artists. Clarissa Bartwell is an immoral woman with a passion for fashion. Using the story of the emperor's new clothes as inspiration for the con, Billy steps up to play the inside with Danny. However, there's someone hanging around who's threatening to blow their cover unless Billy hands over 20,000 pounds in cash.
Thu 24 May 21:00 - 22:00 1 BBC ONE - BBC1 North West

Just watched the first 3* episodes. Hustle is truly one of the best programs around.

*S04E03 was aired in the US ;) Bit cheeky int it, filmed here, produced here. But they get it first? :(

Just watched S04E05. One of the best episodes of the whole series in my opinion! Danny doing the martial arts was hilarious! :rotfl: :rotfl: Then when it cut back to him daydreaming! :rotfl: :rotfl:
