"Humm"/"Buzz" from my Pioneer VSA-AX10i-s

    Hi ppl

    I wounder if this is normal, then i put my ears on the upper left side of the amp i could here it well, i think it comes from the transformer.

    I could also notice this then its totally quiet in the room, and my listning postition is ca, 3 meters from the amp

    Please anyone help me out here

    as long as it's not coming from your speakers i wouldent worry about it,also be carefull putting your ear near the amp,they get mighty HOT! :D

    Thanks for your replay dennis

    do you mean this is normal? i called Pioneer Norway today, and they told me it was normal wiht some "hiss" from the transformers(its only the amp, not the speakers), they also told me to send the unit to service, so they could look at it and find out if the "hiss" was over the "normal" .

    I also have search other forums and people tell me that this is not normal, i am alittle confused here

    no,its not normal,last night i turned tv off and made sure all was quiet in room,there was no hum or buzz from my amp so i would get it looked at in case it gets worse

    Thanks for your help dennis

    I read alot of threads that people have this problem, and i dont think i would get my amp replaced by the warranty, becouse the Pinoeer people tell me it was normal with some noise from it. Maybe my eares is to sencitive(lol)

    My last amp(Sony STR-VA555-ES did not have this "problem")
