I've just received the Humax FoxSat HDR box and I'd like anyone in AVF Land to share their knowledge.

Nope, there's nothing dodgy about the custom firmware... if your expecting extra channels or free subscription TV you'll be dissapointed.

I've made a few requests for CCCam/OSCAM support but they have fallen on deaf ears. :D
 
CCCam is available for the Dreambox and other linux based satellite receivers, however they are generally more exepensive then the Humax Freesat boxes.
Dreambox and CCCam will allow you to watch a lot more channels
(you know what I mean).
