Humax Pvr 9200t - Copying recordings to PC via USB

    Is anyone aware of how I can copy recorderd TV from the Humax to my PC through the USB port? Thanks.

    You need a peice of software called Media e-Linker (Ver 2.1), the one on the CD is probably Ver 1.

    Once installed (it's a bit, er, how do I put this...? clunky!) you will be able to access the HDD in the PVR and copy files to folders on your PC.

    I e-mailed "uksupport @ humax-digital.co.uk" (remove the spaces) to ask for it.

    PS. don't try to use very long USB cables, they don't work for me :mad:

    Thanks John. New software worked great but as you say, very slow. I've managed to download the file to the pc but the file type is unknown due to no extension. Any idea what this should be so I can convert for viewing. Thanks.

    I've downloaded files from the 9200t to the PC and added the extension .mpg for viewing / editing. Try it, it should work.
