I came downstairs the other night ready to go out and realised that I had forgotten to set the machine to record something. But it was already on the correct channel and therefore it had recorded (using the timeshift feature) the entire program, but how can save this recording to stop it from being overwritten once the 2 hours is up?

Considering the entire program was there sitting on the machine, I was a bit peeved that there was nothing I could do to stop loosing it (the program that is :rotfl:  ).

AFIK it's just held in a buffer and when the buffer is full the oldest data is discarded. The data storage is only temporary.
