Humax PVR-8000T 40GB Upgrade to 160GB option

    By the way, you should look for for 'normal' IDE hard-drives if you're going to try swapping discs. The one you selected is serial-ATA and isn't appropriate for the Humax. You'll want parallel-ATA not serial-. Have a look at this forum: http://www.radioandtelly.co.uk/cgi-bin/forum/YaBB.pl?board=humax for Humax-specific discussion.     Head over to www.radioandtelly.co.uk where you will find a very helpful bunch of Humax 8kt users. Many have upgraded their hdd and there is an FAQ which includes disks which are NOT compatible as well as disks which are.

    Apparantly a lot of people have had success with Diamond Max drives.
