Humax LGB-40TPVR, 699GBP, any user reports please?

    I searched AV forums but no hits came back.

    Cost 699 including delivery and two year warranty. No hdmi input though.

    I do not work for Humax, if it is rubbish, say so.:lesson:

    It will be like this one: the Humax LDE-40A but with a PVR inside.

    This one is specifically for the UK and will be supported by Humax UK.

    The PVR in these Humax sets are very poor compared to Humax own stand alone PVR - the 9200T.

    Where are you getting your info and price from. Lots of sites are miss-spec'ing these two Humax LCD TVs...

    Would you have ever bought a CRT TV with a VCR emedded in it? I doubt it.

    So why would you buy its 21 century equivalent, especially when you know up front that freeview is a dead end technology? It is going to move from MPEG2 to MPEG4, making your embedded "twin tuner" utterly useless.

    I would avoid that move, especially on a big screen TV that you are spending a lot of money on.
