Stick with your philips if you intend on just watching normal tv and dvd not worth the upgrade unless you plan on going sky hd.

They were flogging these on QVC the other day. That does worry me a tad. I think I want a 32LD7200, and you can't buy one for love nor money. Yet, you can buy an LGB32TPVR on QVC.

Says to me that they can't sell them, which is a shame 'cos I wanted one right up unitil I read some reviews by guys that had bought one.

The 32LD7200 is around £1300 and the LGB32TPVR is now sub £1000 from qed-uk.com. £300 cheaper + PVR built in. If they have the software updates for the Humax, could the Hitachi really be that much better?

Well I bought it anyway ( £1,500 including a £350 Spectral PL 62 stand ) . Looks great, until you switch it on. Too much brightness , not enough contrast , refresh too slow and sound poor. Fiddling with the settings doesn't change much. Independent retailer had said before purchase they would not exchange if not faulty.
Any advice ? And what is the best twin tuner replacement ?
