Humax Freesat setup question

Hi,

Im trying to utilise an old Sky dish that was on my house when i bought it. Ive replaced the LNB model - FQ8-LBS quad and have a Humax freesat box FOXSAT-HDR.
Sadly not getting any signal. Ive used Satellite finder pro app to ensure the dish it facing the correct way and the angle at 20 degrees as per some of the info I've seen online trying to pick up Astra 28.2 Satellite.

Could someone please tell me if i have the correct LNB and will it work with the box I've purchased?

Thank you in advance.

The dish has probably gone out of alignment - an easy fit for an installer.

LNB looks good.
Be very careful about the 20 degrees - you need to know what offset the dish has. Look at other dishes to check it is more or less OK.

How old a dish? What LNB was on it before you put this one one?
Did you also replace the cables?
Check for cables centre wire/pin being bent over rather than pushed into the (very tight, new) LNB sockets (and on receiver).
Especially if the thin WF65 shotgun style cable is used.

I once had a $ky dish and quad lnb combo that wouldn't work as the focal length was wrong... It needed a different adapter.

It's then a matter of making small incremental movements of dish while being able to see the Diagnostic Signal Meter on the Foxsat.
