Hi,

This is my first post on here. I've tried searching to no avail.

I am considering buying a Humax FOXSAT-HDR Freesat+ PVR. I would like to connect the HDMI output directly to my HD TV, and then connect the SCART output to a UHF Modulator for viewing SDTV upstairs.

Does the Humax FOXSAT-HDR Freesat+ PVR output to both HDMI and SCART simoutaneously, or do I have to keep toggling the settings in the menu system?

Many thanks! :)

Yes it does, all the composite outputs are active at all times (TV scart, vcr scart, rca phono). In fact you don't need to use a scart as the stb has a set of 3 rca phono outputs Yellow - Composite Video, Red - Right analogue audio, Black - Left analogue audio. My hdr feeds an external modulator supplying a kitchen TV using these connections
