We recorded the 3d version of Strictly's finals from Blackpool.

The show worked for us in 3d when live, but the recording is no good.

Is this a problem with the system or did we do something wrong?

Impossible to watch is what I meant.

With the 3d glasses the image is unviewable.

My guess is that some element of synchronisation was missed - but I am not a techie.

    What TV do you have?
How do you usually view 3D movie?
The recording itself should be OK.
It may be something wrong with your system/settings.
Did you watch the live show on TV or via the freeview box?

What TV do you have? Panasonic Tx-P42GT20B

How do you usually view 3D movie? We don't. But we watch 3D when being broadcast by the BBC - Wimbledon and Strictly.

The recording itself should be OK. Agreed.

It may be something wrong with your system/settings. Agreed. I made no changes to the Humax. Am I supposed to?

Did you watch the live show on TV or via the freeview box? We feed the plasma with a Humax Foxsat-HDR. We watched part of the show live in 3D with the Panasonic glasses. The image was fine. When we run the recording the image is unviewable.

Set your 3D TV to SBS (Side By Side) mode. The recordings are normal recordings they just contain 2 horizontally squashed images side by side.

    Graham,

You are a genius. That's it.

I must have forgotten to make the swop in all the excitement of the feathers.
