Humax Foxsat HD box switches on by itself

I have the above box and until now it has performed fine.It now has the annoying habit of switching itself on by itself several times a day.It always comes on as BBC 1 when it does this.(No recordings have been set fot these times)
Anyone else experienced this or know of a solution?

Check the settings menu TIME option to see if you have a setting for power on and power off
