    Great news :smashin:

But I wont hold my breath. As you look through the thread you see no promises etc only a 'we are looking at the possability of releaseing a TiVo'. I hate to be pesamistic but TiVo fans have been jumping on anything remotely close to a new Series 2 TiVo and as yet nothing has come out :nono: and the silence from TiVo UK is deafening!

Still it's the most promising news to date

Typical.....and I just apgraded my TiVo to 120Gb tonight.

I will have to give some serious thought before buying a lifetime subscription now.

Humax and TiVo: 'No current plans'
Monday, March 15 2004, 10:28 GMT -- by Alan Jay

Humax have released a statement to say they have no plansK to develop a TiVo-based PVR in the UK.

Dale Heathcote, Humax UK commercial director, said: “Humax wishes to make it very clear that it does not have a relationship with TiVo in the UK. Humax has licensed TiVo and will launch TiVo products in the USA; however, the company has no current plans to introduce a TiVo product in the UK in any format at this time.”

    Doesn't look promising :(
