Humax 8000t and second STB

    Just bought a Humax 8000T already have a Sony STB can I use an aerial splitter so I benefit from two tuners? :thumbsup:

    You can connect both STBs to the same aerial in several ways. The choice depends on how strong you signal is and the cable runs.

    Looping through the first STB then the second STB and then on to your recorder or TV is the simplest method if both STBs are in the same room. Each STB was probably supplied with a cable to allow you to do this. You may need to adjust the output channel of the first STB.

    If you have a strong signal you can use a Y splitter.

    Otherwise you can use an aerial amplifier/booster with at least two outputs to do the splitting.
