I bought the starter pack E27 from amazon. However I'm having hard time finding compatible lamps for the bulbs.

Well I had two lamps already but I just can't find any new once in shops. I have been to B n Q, Homebase and other supermarkets. All that's available is the E14. Are the e27 not the standard in the UK. I just don't understand.

I have looked at buying e14 to e27 converter which again isn't available in shops. I have to either buy it from eBay or amazon.

    Thanks

It's not just me then, yup in the exact same boat, searched everywhere but no joy in getting a decent lamp with a e27 fitting.

Luckily I stumbled across the below thread on here last night which gave a link to a lamp on IKEA which takes the e27 bulb.

Get your Phillips Hue's out for the lads.

I tried at least 3/4 of those convertors from e14 to 27 and not one of them worked :(

Am now waiting on the coloured bulb from Amazon turning up today to see how it all looks.

Keep me posted if you find anything lamp wise, and I will do the same
