    Hello mate, are you aware that you can use a B22 to E27 adapter to use these I use B22 bulbs in all of my E27 lamp holders this way (you can pick them up for pennies on amazon)

    Probably about an inch, mine are completely concealed by the lampshade so not an issue
    these are the ones I used and they work just fine
