Selling my 2 week old Huawei P20 in the Twilight colour. I have unlocked the bootloader which I see as a plus point as Huawei will be stopping giving the codes in a few days. Comes with 3 cases, a spare super charger (genuine) and some new screen protectors. In the pic there is a pack of 2 which I have now opened and installed one as I had bubbles in my other. Phone is in absolutely mint condition and has had screen protector and case on from day 1.

      Price and currency: 500
Delivery: Delivery cost is included within my country
      Payment method: Bank Transfer
      Location: Swansea
      Advertised elsewhere?: Not advertised elsewhere
Prefer goods collected?: I have no preference

There was never any carrier logos on it. I assume it's unlocked but I don't have another sim to test but can arrange it. It's on software version 131 c432

Unlocked bootloader, but not rooted? Will this affect banking apps and Android pay?

Nope. They will still work fine. The unlocked bootloader just means that in the future, should you wish to install custom ROMs then you are free to do so

You need to relock the bootloader or you can't use certain apps such as android pay. I'm guessing this has been rebranded as that software is non UK spec and should be c782. Based on that will offer 425

Thanks for the offer but that is way too low. Android pay can be used with Magisk if you wished, or you could just re-lock the bootloader. I just wanted the new buyer to have the option of being "free to choose" as android should be otherwise I would have relocked it. But relocking the bootloader can be done easily as can going back to C782 via funky Huawei. Tho why you would want too doesn't make sense as you get all the OTA updates much quicker on the generic version.

I still have 2 weeks of credit left on funky haweui so can rebrand to whatever you like and re lock bootloader if you wanted but £500 delivered is lowest I will do based on the last few sold on here plus I have £40 of extras with it

Isn't the warranty void when you unlock the bootloader?

A grey area. Some people will say yes, others will say no and the debate could go on forever. Taken from a website "Huawei does allow you to unlock the bootloader officially. However, it ships each phone with a locked one for better security and reliability as not all users are inclined to modify system files"

So Huawei allows you to unlock it. And why not too. Its YOUR device. However, unlocked is not an issue as it can just be relocked at any time. It was unlocked officially via Huawei and not any third party methods. It leaves it in my opinion, a more desirable handset

Hi. Do you have any warranty, purchase history, receipts to go with this?

Subject to your reply I would be happy with the asking price.

      Hi Darren,

The phone was an unwanted upgrade so yes, I have the original delivery/order receipt showing the IMEI number in my name and address. There is a 24 month warranty on these I believe.

Morning. Lastly I really do need for it to be unlocked. If you can confirm I'm happy to go ahead with a bank transfer. Cheers.

Hi Darren, its on EE. I put and 02 sim in and to my surprise, it was locked. I have ordered and unlock code which takes 1-2 business days. I can then confirm its unlocked. Obviously I don't expect you to wait, but it would be beneficial having the phone unlocked anyway so that will 100% be happening. I can let you know once the phone is unlocked and then see if you wish to proceed.

As soon as you can confirm it's unlocked it's a deal. Can we consider this done pending that ? I'll monitor the thread.
