HTX-22HD - No Picture - Please help

Hi,

I've just purchased a HTX-22HD and have gone through the setup etc.
However I have an issue in that now no picture is displayed on the TV
unless I go back to analog.


Here is my current setup.

Blu-Ray

Sony BDPS360 Profile 2.0 Blu-ray Player

Panasonic TX-P42S10B 42-inch Widescreen Full HD 1080p Plasma TV

Sky+ HD

Sky+ HD Box


The Blu-Ray goes via HDMI into the HDMI Input 1 on the HTX
The Sky+HD goes via HDMI into the HDMI Input 2 on the HTX

The HTX-22HD HDMI output goes into the HDMI 1 Input of the Panasonic TV


Symptoms
- Insert a Blu-Ray disk, no Picture or but I can here the Sound when DVD is Selected from the HTX
- Select SAT from HTX and we get sound but no picture on the TV
- Select AV Input TV from the TV and we get sound and picture from the
analog TV source.

Have you got any ideas what might be wrong. I'm fairly experianced but
for the life of me cannot see what is wrong.

I manage to fix this with the help of some nice people via PM's.

I've always had the devices in HDMI 1 on the TV but for some reason it was not working with the HTX. I moved the HTX to the HDMI 2 of the TV and Voila.. sound and lovely pictures.

Go Figure...

i have almost exact same setup (ps3 instead) and i connect:
sky+ hd > S10B : HDMI 1
ps3 > htx : HDMI
htx > S10B : HMI 2
i have tried sky+ hd thro htx but didn't see the point.
audio : have you connected sky+ hd to htx with optical or coax for DD?
slightly off topic what output do you have your sky+ hd set to?
also does your S10B 'buzz'?? mine does and i will be returning it for the 46G15 from costco.

forgot to also ask......is the fan almost constantly on, on your htx? mine is and when it does go off (occasionally) the room is sooooo quiet!!
i have contacted the repair company for Onkyo to be told this is 'normal'.

Yes, I now have my Sky+HD connecting to the HTX via optical cable.

No buzz on the S10B, sorry.

What do you mean by output on Sky+HD? A setting from the sky menu? Let me know where to find it and I'll let you know.

its under services (button on remote) > settings > HD resolution output.
it may be quiet but is it on almost all the time?

now you've had ur htx for a few more days have you noticed if your fan is on almost all the time?
