Is it possible - has anyone done it?

Seems like most people are using a flavour of Windows but I'm quite interested in building my own HTPC and also quite keen to use Linux unless it's going to cause me more pain than it's worth :) I've got plenty of Linux experience (allthough it's getting old now) so the 'difficulty' of Linux won't be a problem for me. I'm guessing though that finding good AV software and drivers may be the main problem.

If anyone has a Linux HTPC I'd love to know what your config / specs are.

    Michael.

Oops! Just found the HTPC Linux Chat forum on avsforums. Still, if anyone here has done it I'd love to hear about it.
