OK guys, the promise of this HTPC is that it can replace a video recorder. I have the hauppauge digital tv card but the functionality there seems really weak.

Is there some neat internet application that displays TV listings and automates recording them to disc. Imagine if you could set up rules so that it captured every Coronation St! (aaarggggh!)

    Thanks

Hi rooger and welcome to the forums :hiya:

Unfortunately I don't own the Hauppauge card so someone else will have to tell you how easy it is to implement what you want. This is however very easy to do with the Nebula DigiTV card which has an EPG with pretty good recording facilities.
