Hi - I'm relatively new to HTPC's, can someone tell me if it's possible to get a TV that is somewhere near the quality of a monitor or would you just have to get an enormous monitor and use it as a TV? I realise HTPC's are meant for showing DVD's etc but I'm looking to output readable text to the TV.

I know the refresh rate and resolution is different but is there something in between? The output for TV etc would be ok, I'm just thinking to internet enable the TV, for example the text is virually unreadable unless you go to 800x600 and even then its not that sharp at all and I guess this is just a limitation of the TV.

Would it be any better on a 100Hz flicker free screen perhaps?

So, large monitor or are there other ways? :lease:
