    Hi Guys 'n' Gals,

A Happy new 2007 to one an all!!

My Christmas present arrived in a big van on Saturday. A Panasonic TH42PX60. I spent the entire day rewiring my Home Theater system, lifting carpets, drilling holes in the floor, drawing schematics to ensure I got the cabling right.

The last job was to cable up my HTPC to the new beastie. Used a DVI-HDMI cable to get the best quality, and indeed the resulting display is pin sharp. Excellent!!

Not everything is roses though as I've noticed that when I play *any* video with either WMP or WinTV2000 the picture appears overexposed with slight banding across it.

Anyone got any clues? Everything else looks great, but I can't get my head around why video plays funny. If I plug in my TFT monitor into the HTPC it works fine, and only when I use the TH42PX60 as the display do I see the problem.

    Cheers,
    Ripface.

    P.S. HTPC Spec is ....

    MSI K8MM-V Motherboard
    AMD Athlon 64
    1GB GEIL Memory
XFX GeForceFX Personal Cinema Video Card
