    Hi All

    Another basic question:

Is there any way you can use a PC to replace an integrated amplifier / reciever?

The latest soundblaster cards all have THX and 7.1, but doesn't look like they have the speaker outs to actually support 7.1, nor does it seem to have any amplification.

Your help would be much appreciated!

    Thanks

Thats because decent amplification needs lots of room, lots of power, more power = more heat.
