Hi,

New to the forum. Picked up some good tips in the past from reading but this is my first post as I'm hoping someone can help with a specific problem!

I have the basic Pioneer HTP-071 5.1 speaker and Amp/receiver package. It all worked fine until recently but the front left channel has just started to cut out. It's strange (to me) as it only happens after the system has been on for about 10 minutes. No amount of fiddling then seems to bring it back, but if I power the receiver down for a while it works again - for 10 minutes!

I have tried everything to fix it but nothing has worked....

- changed the front left speaker wire
- swapped the speakers around to confirm its the channel not the speaker
- done several resets of the receiver

I'm now of the opinion that it's probably an electrical fault inside the receiver which will put it beyond my ability to fix, but I don't want to give up just yet! It's just over 2 years old and typically just out of warrantee. Annoyingly I've just replaced the subwoofer as it had developed a fault and purchased some stands to fit in to a new home......

Many thanks for reading! Any suggestions will be much appreciated.
