Ok i have a one week old Vive for sale. As new condition carefully unpacked and repacked exactly as it came. All packaging ect.. Unused earbuds

I had every intention of keeping the Vive, but unfortunately i do not meet the minimum room needed to use the Room Scale. I am left with just the seated experience and very limited movement.

Regrettably i'm going to have to sell, and believe me it's an absolute awesome piece of hardware. Having your hands in game with the controllers is a complete game changer. I have the Rift on order which will suit my needs / space better.

I have used the free game codes that came with it so i could test them without room scale. Games like Job Simulator are simply not possible in my 5x5 foot space!

Collection in person is preferred if possible but i will post courier insured if required.

It is priced very reasonably compared to what they are selling at over you know where. I wanted put it up here first before going down that route.

Any questions please ask away. :)

    Price and currency: 800
Delivery: Delivery cost is not included
Payment method: Bank Transfer / PPG
    Location: Smithybridge, Lancashire
    Advertised elsewhere?: Not advertised elsewhere
Prefer goods collected?: I prefer the goods to be collected

Is the seated experience so bad? I was looking in to these and it seems that as of right now, until Oculus offers both options (and funky controlers), the HTC may be the one to have as you can walk around if you wish or you can sit.

they are only £746 with shipping from HTC and you have used the games which makes it worth less?, this isn't ebay i don't think your allowed to sell items with a markup?

No not at all, it can handle everything and more the Rift can. I am mostly a simulator user, DCS, ED, Driving ect.. The Vive with room scale is wasted on my setup thus why i am selling.

Profiteering is not against the rules, it was changed some time back i believe. No this is definitely not *bay and i am open to sensible offers. And of course there is no wait as this would be delivered next day, guaranteed a perfectly working Vive with zero issues. Probably used 5 hours in total.

Tempted to make an offer, have no PC cause I sold it last night but.... Does this need to be connected to a PC to work?

I don't have space in the office but I do in the lounge? I am going to assume this is like oculus and needs a wired connection and how long are the wires

Selling for profit is no longer against the rules so no more discussion over the price. If the item is price is too high it either won't sell or interested parties will offer what they feel is the right price for it.
If you're not genuinely interested in buying please don't comment as it will be considered thread spoiling and warnings will be issued.

This absolutely needs to be connected to a PC. The headset needs to be connected and wire length is 15ft / 5 meters i believe.

I read that back.... I am buying a PC asap but it will be back in the office. I didn't mean could I use it without one at all.

I was just hoping this was wireless.

Don't think 15ft would do it for me... Let me check.

What's the warranty situation on these, any idea? I seem to remember Oculus not allowing warranty transfers.

HTC are good for warranty. I bought a second hand HTC M7 that needed repair, warranty is on the product and not who purchased it. They even upgraded my phone to the M8 after they couldn't repair it.
I will absolutely help if there should be any issues with the unit in the future.

Thanks for the offer. I am guessing around £20 insured for a £1000, it's a very large box. I can check when i return to work on Tuesday with correct weights and dimensions. I will only charge what it costs me to send it, no more.

    Edit:
This is using UK mail next day delivery. I can also use DHL or UPS if you have preference.
    Prices will vary though.

So no game codes will be included, is this right?
I'm quite tempted but will need to consider carefully.

Yes correct, i have used the games codes. I needed to try Job Simulator to see if it was usable, but i couldn't reach any objects due to my rooms limitations. Very unhappy and i do not have the option of relocating to another room.

Managed to get these dimensions from a quick search...

    Does that seem about right?
Parcel Force 24 would be about £28 I think (insured to £800)

I could send you £806 via PayPal which would give you £778.40

Sorry Mambo i miss understood your offer. I am not comfortable accepting a standard Paypal payment as this is open to cancellation. Your Feedback and ratings are absolutely flawless, but i have been stung in the past with PP. No offence.

I can provide my bay account details where i have been a member for 14 years with (449) 100% feedback.

I understand if you wish not to proceed.

Would need to be standard PayPal as id be using my credit card. Dont worry about it though, it was a bit of an impulse buy as I wait for my CV1, I have a Vive on pre order too but both are due next month.

My offer was based on £750 + the cost of delivery which is £28.51 thats why id be sending £806 was to cover the paypal fee which is 3.4% + 20p.
