I have an HT300 Plus currently hooked up to a denon 3805 and 2900 DVD and Sky+

I wondered what, if anything, I can do to project HiDef picture (assuming that when Sky broadcasts in 2006...)? Is the projector capable of doing this with it's DVI input? I will no doubt have to change both DVD player and AV amp?

Another stooopid question: What is HDMI exactly?

Frightening the people you get on here eh???? :D

The 300 plus DVI input is not HDCP compliant so you would benefit from one of the DVI to VGA converters that Sim2 can supply.

    Jeff,

Does this mean that I would get High definition picture (what line resolution?) if the source were right and I had the DVI to VGA converter? Just a little confused!!

    Many thanks

Yes you would be able to receive HD material at 720p for example.
