HT200 (better) picture upscaled to 720p?

    I have plans to buy a DVD-player how can output 720p/1080i on component, will my pj get a better DVD picture upscaled to 720p (component)??!!
    or is't a waste of money (have an Philips 963SA today)
    last question........ can my 2000 handle 480p 580p 720p 1080i (VGA input)

    you should use the progressive component input from your DVD player instead of the PC input and yes you will see an improvement.

    HD should be fed via the component inputs as well.

    Hello all

    If I were miol11 I'd want to compare a DVD player with up scaling abilities to his current DVD player + a decent external Video Processor; the second option may be more flexible as it also enables you to Optimise all of your Video signals to the Projector.
