Hi there! Anyone out there have experience of these soundbases? Looking to pair one with a Sony TV, and love to get some feedback on the different generations of this product... And the performance differences between them, many thanks :)

I have the HTX 1, very pleased with it especially the 3 HDMI inputs! HTX3 has better sound quality and 4K pass through but considerably more expensive.

Hi there, sorry it's taken a wee while to reply! Thanks so much for your reply, totally agree, the hdmi options totally outweighs other products in the price range of the htxt1, very tempted to go with the same :) thanks again :)

Same here, bought a LG OLED 55C6V and having problems when watching via the apps on the tv; the sound doesn't come from the XT1, it comes from the tv speakers. TiVo sound keeps playing through soundbase. I have to manually switch things around. Also, the XT1 doesn't switch on and off with the tv. Weird.

Check the HDMI cable from the Sony is connected to an ARC enabled input on the TV and that CEC is enabled on both . Check TV sound set to 'Receiver' (or whatever LG call it) . If all this fails try a different high speed HDMI cable, power down( unplug or switch off at socket)both items before disconnecting the cable.

I have tried a few cables in mine, it just doesn't seem to like it. Only thing I haven't tried though is optical.

That said I used this as an excuse to buy some new AV stuff lol.

Are you thinking of running HDMI cables from the various boxes straight to the TV and then an optical cable from the TV to the xt1?

I was but I bought a mini hifi yesterday. I picked up the Denon DM41 with Dali Zensors 1. Blows the Sony out of the water, the sound is amazing.
