Hi, i have a samsung LE40a656 and sky+HD, I now want an all in one home cinema kit. Trouble is i can't decide between the samsung ht-bd2 or the panasonic sc-bt-100.

The up side to the samsung is 7.1 dolby (panny only has 3.1) i'm not sure if the samsung has wireless rears or not? the panny has the Ipod connection. the samsung is more expensive but to get the panny up to 5.1 or 7.1 is another 160/320 quid.

So, i've come to you guys to give me some help on which one you recommend and the best way to connect my sky+hd to it?

Cheers

I realise this is the all-in-one section, but for the money I see the Samsung is, haven't you considered going for a av amp, player & speakers.

For the money:
Mid Range AV Amp £300
Cheap, but brand name BlueRay £150
Leaving £250 for speakers

This accounts for the £700 I can see the Samsung for.

Of course this is all academic if it's a space issue!

I went with the panasonic. The samsung is a massive unit, the speakers are too big for my living room, plus the rears aren't wireless. The panasonic is only 3.1 but i got the additional rears to make it 5.1 cheaper than i could get the samsung for. And the panasonic comes with the bonus of the ipod dock.
