Just tried to use my HSBC cards, and received an "INCORRECT PIN" error.

I know the PINs are correct, as i used them yesterday. Just wondered if anybody else has had a problem before i ring HSBC and have them reset my PINs.

Can you get cash out?

Just as a control measure against dome faulty Point of Sale machine.

Try it again. I have found every so often it will say it's incorrect even when I know it's correct

I've used my hsbc card 3 times this morning. No problems.

Didn't try to withdraw cash, but i tried two Visa Debit cards, on two different accounts.

I tried one card twice and another once.

I bet it's a faulty POS terminal. The contactless payment worked.

Did you check it over carefully? May have had a skimmer on it.

If your pin is locked (input correct three times) the only way you can unlock it is via a cash machine by pressing 'other' then pin services then unlock pin the next day.
