I have been experencing some mains issues with the HS20 projector I recently purchased. The picture in general is quite dirty and I also get curved lines diagonally across the screen.

A member of this forum (Joe Fernand) has been extremely helpful, and I am currently awaiting delivery of mains cables he has suggested I try. I thought it might also be worth posting a thread to ask if anyone else has experienced similar problems, and if so how did you cure them? (If infact you did)

The projector also gives off a slight buzzing noise that increases the longer the projector is switched on. Is this standard with this projector and can it be reduced.

Any advise would be much appretiated.

    Thanks

Did you clip on the weighted shield thingy on the mains cable?

I did attach it and it made a small amount of difference but did not fix the problem.
