    Hi all,
My HS10 arrived on friday! What a beauty :D
I was up and running in a matter of minutes, all be it through the x-box.
I have the bits for my HTPC arriving tomoorw

Only problem so far is i cant get a colour s-video feed.
I've checked both PJ and DVD are set to PAL or NTSC.
I even get B&W if i put it through the x-box, so i dont think its the DVD player...

    Any thoughts on this?

    i've tried all combinations.
So... DVD set to PAL (thats the only pal option on the player.)
Then tried the PJ on PAL, PAL-N And the other PAL option!

Same with NTSC. No joy,... always B&W.

I've also fried two different s-video cables and using the SONY Multi jack that comes with the PJ. All B&W.

Am i running out of options?

I'm using an standard S-video cable.
S-video out of the DVD and s-video into the PJ.
No scarts or other connections in involved.
i have also tried more than one s-video cable.

try cycling through the inputs using the remote.

I had a simliar quirk with my HS2 and found that I had to go past the first s-video option as I think that this was for the PJ multi option,

    If I remember correctly.
