    HELP I am also considering buying a Sony HS 10 from Price Japan but I need to know if it can produce an image small enough to fit on my 8 foot wide screen when projected from a distance of 19 feet.Any bigger and it will be on my curtains.Please Help

    I have finally managed to persuade Sony to send me details on throw & SS2.

    From the data they have sent an 100" screen [8' 4"] you can project an image from between 13' 2" and 15' 5"

    @ 19' the image will be 12' 1"

    Is the projection distance quoted for 100" wide or diagonal?

    I used to width in my answer, although the link above uses diagonals
