I am new to this iste & have been scratching my head for ages on how to format the disks on my server, i have tried everything from creating raid to trying wipe them clean, I had tried to install Freenas but now not wanting this as i want to try & install vmware for work/study I need to format the disks, in order to boot the server from my usb disk. Any ideas on this & how I can go about formatting the diaks I would be very much appreciated.
