Hi

Finally decided on getting a microserver while the cashback's still on, and noticed you can also get £30 of the 3 Years Next Day Onsite warranty, which I think is about £100 usually. Anyone think it's worth it? Or knows so from experience? Would be nice for piece of mind, but considering the whole unit is only £125 I'm not sure...

Thanks

Hi

I didnt get a warranty and I dont think a lot of other people here did either
You get your standard warranty which is 1 year I believe.
My thoughts were it shouldnt go wrong - based on my experiences with PC equipment to date I've only had hard drives, and memory fail on me which were easily replaced.

I guess if the Mobo or PSu were to fail then that would be a little more difficult to replace but not impossible I imagine.
Anyway do what gives you peace of mind -personally I'd put the money aside and use it to repair /replace if anything went wrong
