I have an n40l with Ubuntu running on the 250 g drive and 2x2tb drives. All working fine. I have attempted to load windows 7, it boots ok and starts the installation. But stops saying no hard drives found. Help would be very much appreciated.
    Thank
    Bert

What's the exact error message ? If your boot drive is partitioned for Ubuntu, and your data drives are also partitioned with Ext3/4 filesystems, then there's nowhere for you to install Windows (without erasing the Ubuntu installation)

    Thanks for your help.
The message that comes up is....

"Setup did not find any hard disk drives installed in your computer. " make sure any hard drive is powered on and connected and that any disk related hardware configuration is correct.
The hard drives are set up as follows....

250g hd partition type = Linux contents ext 4

    2tb partition type = Linux
    Contents ntfs

    2tb partition type = hpfs/ntfs
    Contents ntfs

    Thanks
