Hi, this may sound a little confusing, but I think I may be doing something wrong, it all seems a little long winded.

i do not leave my server on 24/7 and when it is not in use i shut it down to save on power bills. Once rebooted i need to follow a certain routine to get sab working via my laptops web browser.

    The routine goes like this

    1. Boot server.

    2. remote into server and start sabnzdb on server.

    3. close remote access.

    4. open sab via laptops web browser.

In an ideal world I would like to be able to boot the server then be able to just view sab via my laptop web browser without having to remote into my server, start sab first then log out.

I hope that kinda makes sense.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    wat OS you using?

Isn't there a setting in a sabnzbd to make it run on startup? Or just bung a shortcut to the prog in the startup folder on the server.

Not sure but You might also need to set the IP address of the server to a permanent one.

    Simples really!
