I have had my HP IPAQ for a couple of years.
Each week I plug in the Charger Cradle, place the handheld in the cradle to charge the battery and to update my files.
Everything worked fine.
TODAY - as soon as I place the handheld in the cradle the LED screen goes black. As soon as I lift the handheld out, the screen lights up.
It is charging all the time in the cradle even though the screen is black.
I can also update (transfer) my files whilst it is in the cradle and the screen black.
It is not a low battery as the power reading is 70% at the moment.
Does anybody know what has happened, and how can I overcome this problem.
It has never happened before.
