If anyone has the 4GB stick that came with the microserver, I'd be interested in buying that off you (assuming that you've upgraded :D)

Let me know what you got

Found it. Removed from the server when it arrived and swapped out immediately. HP PN 821233-081. with HP Security tag. Looks like Micron chips. £25 posted in UK.

Just wondering what value you place on the warranty. In all the years I've been working with computers I've never had a memory module fail. In terms of compatibility, that is usually sorted when selecting the product before purchase.

If its any help I could do £22 posted.

Incidentally, what OS are you using?

Hi mate, I understand what you're saying. Memory is hugely reliable, but I have had memory go wrong and it was a relief when it was covered under warranty. Can we say £20 and call it a deal?
BTW, I'm using Windows 10. Using a spare win7 pro license to upgrade which incidentally isn't as straight forward as I thought it would be :)

It will be the cheapest postage option at this price (price includes packaging materials to ensure safe transit)

Actually, I'll go with the 4 gig from amazon mate. It is only a quid more expensive with warranty to boot

Fine, but you cannot really compare OEM memory prices with compatible memory.
