    Hi all,

Selling my HP EliteBook Folio G1. This was bought approx 9 months ago, and has only been recently turned on so it's virtually brand new. It’s in fantastic condition, and got a 4K touch-screen, 8GB RAM, a 240GB SSD and USBC ports. This is an excellent, lightweight machine which is perfect for those needing to travel with a high spec machine, or for those who just like the latest tech! The 4K UHD screen is simply amazing and has to be seen to be believed - phenomenal screen for a laptop!

A link to the machine can be found here: https://www.pcworldbusiness.co.uk/catalogue/item/P242064P#tabss

    Any questions please ask.

    Tom

Not really used it so I can’t comment on the battery life - and no full USB ports but will include a genuine Apple USB-C adapter in it :)
In terms of CAD, the 4K screen would be great, and the processor is obviously very good.

Thanks, I'm looking at either a nice small machine for some Sketchup and Photoshop etc. or going the whole hog on a Dell 5520 workstation (£1k+ used) to do Solidworks and Fusion too.
I will check the speck out later....I'm at work in York but do you ever travel Doncaster way?

Also, is it true the 4k screen is really bad on the battery.

Hi there - I’ve had it on this morning and it’s had around 2 1/2 to 3 hours - with the 4K screen on at all times. The screen is stunning - I’m happy to arrange delivery to Doncaster if that is convenient.
It’s also a really solid and well made machine - feels very sturdy and looks very professional.

I will look into it as I have a HP x-360 i5 with 8gb ram and SSD so not sure it will be that much of an improvement over that in terms of performance for the price.

Will have to pass for now mate, I rescued my HP from the brink and its pretty powerful for now. Its a lovely machine but I think its get a cheap day to day machine for office duties or drop for a workstation. Thanks anyway, and if mine gives up the ghost.......

Sorry £400 way too low I’m afraid - £460 would be my lowest mate.

Will be by UPS (or if you have any specific preference then happy to consider it). Usually find UPS to be the most reliable.

I’m interested, what’s the screen like for watching films etc? If I was watching films on it how long would the battery last?

You should get a few hours out of it - the screen is incredible, 4K on a laptop is crazy!

Yes the eBay seller withdrew (as per normal!) - purchased some time around March/April 17. The warranty expiry date is accurate and has been verified by HP.

I have no issues with your sale mate. If you say its mint, boxed like new and warranty until March 2019 I'm good with that...I even put a sneaky bid on eBay but got outbid. I could offer £395 delivered with the dongle you mentioned just as a spare machine until I get that dream CAD workstation. Its lower than you want but still more than you would clear if the winning bidder had paid...and I wouldn't back out :)
