How will this screen look

I bought a fixed 58" X 104" Dalite HC Cinema vison screen to go along with a panasonic AE900U projector. I made a template today of the room and placed the screen on the wall. The screen will be approx 20" off the floor. Is this accpetable or is the screen to low?

FWIW, the ceiling is 81" tall and the width of the wall is 15'

The 'ideal' height would put your eyeline at 1/3 distance up the screen from your usual viewing position. The seats you use most in this case I suppose.

Love the sunken telly btw. Have you looked at diffusers for those walls?

A lot of people would recomend that you don't stick your speakers in the wall, it may look good for them to be flush, but it'll do nothing for their acustic properties (unless they are flat speakers and there not actualy in the wall).

A screen of that size i'm sure everyone will have an eye full, much like a real cinema. The room looks like a real nice job and the side lights look realy professional, would be cool if you have them set up to dim as a movie starts :)

Thanks for the input. The speakers are on slides and push into the wall when not in use. The rear speakers are the same way....it would be nice to have the lights dim and speakers move out as a movie starts though

Nice room. Could you tell it´s dimensions.

Thanks, the room is 15" X 20" with 2 tiers of seating. There is a (10X 35) room in back of the theater with a fireplace and 11" oak bar (beermeister) that is separated from the theater by a half wall. I plan on putting a poker table in the back part of this picture.....the theater is located where the wall cutouts are in the below picture.

The place needs some pictures and final touches but it's coming along.
