How useful is Motionflow? (W6 vs W8)

I've had the Samsung F6400 for 6 months and always had the "Clear Motion Rate" off, couldn't stand the soap opera effect. Fast motion annoyed me a little (could be from being slightly different from my previous set), but forgot about it over time once I got used to the TV.

I'm considering to buy the W605B (great reviews), would the extra cost justify the upgrade to W815B (~£150 extra), just for the motion flow? Or would the W8 have better motion processing in general , even without MF?

I have access to a W605B; I'll test out Motionflow this weekend. I'm fairly sure I left it off because it darkened the picture too much, and it didn't seem necessary.

EDIT: Screen does darken with Motionflow enabled. Did not try readjusting brightness as I can see no benefit to this featured being turned on.

W605B is only LED-motion. it's pretty dark and flickering. Don't use it.
W815/828/829 use scaning backlight instead. (called pulse) it's still a pretty dark picture but without the flicker. "Clear" and "clear plus" is also and option. it works like samsungs clear motion rate, and give you a brighter picture.
