I'm getting a TH42PHD7 with an iScan HD scaler. The Panny will have side speakers as I like this for normal Sky viewing and only use the 5.1 for watching films.

However, I can't work out how I can achieve this. The iScan only has a digital audio output. The Panny only has a analog audio input. And as for my amp (AVR 3803) I can't see any way of doing via this either.

Are there any amps which have a monitor analog audio output if that makes any sense? Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I could get this result?

I did find a audio digital to analog converter but it cost £400  I did also think of connecting the sky audio directly to the plasma but then I'd probably get lip sync problems as the picture would be routed via the scaler?

    Thanks
    Mark
